 | Layne E. Los, Ph.D.Layne has 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Layne began his career at Bristol Myers in drug metabolism supporting IND and NDA submissions. He moved to Merck's preclinical development in 1984 until 1994. He developed a new Bioanalytical Lab based on a GC/MS program at AAI. Layne became the Vice President of Business Development for Huntington Drug Development operations in the US. In 2000 Layne started Apex Analytical, a contract sales organization. Layne and Gary founded NextGen Pharma Technologies, Inc. in 2001 through a joint venture of Apex and PDR.  | Virgil Gary TyeGary has over 30 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Development. Gary started with Abbott Laboratories in 1968. He left Abbott in 1971 to start Analytical Development Corporation, a contract bioanalytical/drug metabolism laboratory. In 1997 he started PHARM Development Resources, Inc.  | Judi PhillipsOffice Manager/Client Services CoordinatorJudi has over 20 years of experience in various aspects of Office Administration/Management. Some of her skills include customer service, financial, general office, project coordination, and creation of brochures, newsletters, and presentations. She has worked in a variety of different industries, ranging from Advertising to Physician Recruiting. Judi moved to Colorado Springs in 2003, and joined the NextGen Pharma Technologies, Inc. team to assist in the management of the office and to provide support to the sales staff and NextGen’s clients.  | Cheryl HiteProject Manager/Rocky Mountain Regional SalesCheryl has over 20 years experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. She spent a number of years at the bench in clinical immunological research and product development management before moving to the business side of science eight years ago. Cheryl served as Commercial Manager of Degussa’s US cGMP oligotherapeutic facility and gave Eurogentec’s cGMP diagnostic oligonucleotide division its US business development presence. Her perspective on projects is a result of her experiences as a researcher and as a business development professional. (Bob) SchultekMidwest Sales ManagerOver half of Bob’s 30 plus years of executive management experience as a senior sales and business development executive, CEO and business owner has been in service to the pharmaceutical and medical equipment industries. After receiving a BSEE degree from the University of Notre Dame, Bob spent the early part of his career serving in several engineering, sales and management positions, while pursuing an MBA. Prior to working with NextGen and founding GrowthPointe Group, Bob served as VP of Global Sales & Marketing for ChanTest Corporation, a preclinical CSO focused on ion channel and GPCR targets for drug discovery and development. His expertise includes customer-partnered business development, strategic planning, sales management, customer service, product development, operational alignment, and quality assurance.  | David B. (Dave) Trollinger, MBADirectorDave has over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Dave began his career as a molecular biologist characterizing genes including cloning, DNA sequencing and expression, to whole genome transcript analysis. These tools were applied in lead optimization cell screening through monitoring patient response to therapy. Dave was a hands-on manager of the genome sequencing lab at Amgen, Thousand Oaks, and also led a core DNA sequencing and gene expression lab at Amgen, Colorado. He co-founded Source Precision Medicine, a personalized medicine company providing gene expression analysis used by major pharma to characterize patient response in early clinical studies. Prior to joining NextGen, Dave managed clinical and translational research outsourcing at Array Biopharma. |
